my question would be, in case it IS that they did this cuz of 10th anniversary of GW or GW2's coming expansion, why banning so many accounts which look suspicious?
i mean, if a mistake with multilaunch or texmod could cause this, or someone used a bot 7 years ago, and was banned for that, but now is banned again, or someone was seen as a bot (i heard that from a close friend in GW, when he farmed in tombs), then its a BAD thing to let people walk away from anet's area (maybe ncsoft too, dunno how people react to this) ESPECIALLY with the expansion coming out soon

anet, show yourselves, at least say something about this case in general

i never used texmod, multilaunch or bots (still same reason i dont use bots, cuz i wanna PLAY the game, not let it play itself), and dont even farm the way bots do, but i'm a lil worried if anet sees me for an EULA breaking accountholder for a sec, and wont undo it
especially with anet2, which i call the new anet, who i dont even know, as i barely see anything from them, cuz i dont have GW2

no, many have lost their GW account through ban, and yet can play GW2, heard that alot already
and not getting banned only cuz you have GW and GW2, thats not ever gonna be true

Not the case. I have 2 linked gw/gw2 acc's 1 was ban other wasn't.

Been following this thread since its inception, and I want to share my story. I have been playing for almost 8 years with this account. The only other program I have used is TexMod, and I use it fairly frequently, have been for probably 4 years. I don't have a second account and have never logged in to any other account. I have never bought gold, or botted, or anything other than straight up play the game.

Thankfully I haven't been banned, and I hope it stays that way! I feel for you guys and gals that have been banned wrongfully, and maybe one day someone with half a brain that gives a crap will read your support ticket and do something about it. Just felt like sharing!

There is NO guildwars support anylonger...they have made it perfectly clear they care absolutely NOTHING about this game nor its players. The got rid of the support forum for guildwars and now refuse to allow posts about it on their prize pony official support ONLY FOR GW2 forum.
That says volumes about the company, their polices and what they think of its players...now you decide if you wish to continue to fund them or tell 2 friends who can tell 2 friends about how this company treats its customers.

My ticket number has been posted for me, but I have yet to hear anything back either....and I have not lost even close to as much as you did! (only 4 accounts--main with 35 character slots, all inventory slots, all costumes, one merc, CE edition of factions and nightfall (and yes prophecies)....not going to go into the ingame only items, other accounts had all 3 chapter (some CE) + eye, as well as one or two additional character slots and inventory slots each).
I figured out I have given the company hundreds of $

and for this I am basically shown the door and told to let it hit me on the way out.

back in the day before extra storage tabs and extra character slots---they only way to get extra space was more accounts (yes I seee the

)....but perhaps the dodo who banned those with extra accounts doesnt get it (and on the lottery winning chance is reading this) FYI.
I got my extra accounts because I LOVE to make characters, and then I just couldnt let them sit there ...so I HAD to play them...thus more characters (and before more character slots), more accounts..
and yeah his numbers are low, prophecies was like $60 when it came out, the CE for factions and nightfall were more than that too---(been too many years for me to remember the retail

)

Seems like a valid reason, though I'm still a bit skeptical of one's ability to fill out that many prediction cards, as such betting would have taken about 5 hours to complete.

Very well written post on the Guild Wars 2 forums. It's hard to believe Arenanet's level of negligence to their original customer base. I keep thinking to myself there must be a very good reason for them to be so dismissive, but it simply doesn't add up.

I'm going on 21 days now without a response from support.

Time paid off! Was easy money.

And could get keys by doing Zaishen Elite.

I was just seeing how far I could go in that picture, but you could get a key every 20 minutes with each account. Did it with fellow players after heroes weren't permitted. Can still do it with henchmen, but not as dependable as heroes or players.
